HOUEIXAY – PAKBENG (Monday, Thursday, Friday)

Your boarding time 09:00am. Our local guide will meet and assist you at Lao side immigration and transfer you to board our cruise. Please find the signboard “Le Grand Cruise” at the meeting point in front of Immigration Counter.
This morning you will board your traditional slow boat for the cruise downstream the Mekong River to the river town of Pakbeng.
Enroute the scenery along this part of the Mekong is arguably at its most beautiful. As your journey downriver you will stop at some Khmu ethnic minority village and experience observing their traditional local lifestyle. Lunch is served on board while cruising.
Arriving at Pakbeng late afternoon you will check in to your bungalow and enjoy a few drinks watching the sunset over the mountains and the Mekong River at the swimming pool side terrace. Overnight in Pakbeng

PAKBENG – LUANG PRABANG (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday)

Breakfast and transfer you from our resort to board pier. Your board time 07:30am. This morning we continue the second legs downstream pass areas of un-spoilt forest with little villages along the riverbanks and perhaps the odd elephant or two with his mahout. You will visit a Hmong village and have the opportunity to explore the local villages and old temples. Lunch is served on board as we enjoy the slow-paced cruise.
We will pull over for a visit to Pak-Ou Caves, an ancient pilgrimage site and containing thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.
Arriving in Luang Prabang, you will disembark at Le Calao pier around sunset, your local guide is ready to meet up and transfer to your hotel

Lunch On Board (Day 1)
Your first lunch on board today will be purely Lao traditional cuisine. Our on board chef will prepare your fresh lunch in Lao traditional cooking way. In case of you are vegetarian, or food allergic...etc. We request you to inform us at least one day a head notice or speak to your local guide on board.
Dinner At Hotel
Your dinner tonight will be combination Lao & Asian cuisine in Set Menu or International buffet depending on how number of in-house guests are booked tonight. We begin to serve your dinner by 7pm at our Indochina Restaurant at the resort.
Lunch On Board (Day 2)
While you are enjoying your second leg cruising downstream river or upstream river, buffet lunch will be served by mid day. Coffee & Tea with sweet can be requested at all time during on board.
